TRIAD

TRIAD™ is the American College of Radiology’s (ACR’s) image and information exchange application used by IROC Houston (RPC). This application will be used by NCI-funded cooperative groups in the near future. TRIAD provides sites participating in clinical trials a secure method to transmit DICOM RT and other digital data. TRIAD anonymizes and validates the images as they are transferred.

Only site staff who transmit RT imaging data (medical physicists and dosimetrists) require the TRIAD site user role.

1. Site physics staff who will submit images through TRIAD will need to be registered with the Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program (CTEP) and have a valid and active CTEP Identity and Access Management (IAM) account. If you do not have an IAM account, please visit https://eapps-ctep.nci.nih.gov/iam

2. To submit images, the site physics user must have been assigned the “TRIAD site user” role on the relevant Group or CTSU roster, and should follow their procedures for assignment of roster roles.

3. When a user applies for a CTEP-IAM account with proper user role, he/she will need to have the TRIAD application installed on his/her workstation to be able to submit images. For instructions on TRIAD, installation, click here. This process can be done in parallel to obtaining your CTEP-IAM account username and password.

Starting 3/3/2015, TRIAD client automatic upgrade feature will require Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5. In order for TRIAD automatic client upgrade to work properly, please make sure to upgrade Microsoft .NET Framework on your computer to 4.5. The download of Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 is available on the Microsoft website at: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653.
